Welcome on Laurence LE PAGE's website

The translation profession has changed over the last few years.  Amalgamation and takeovers have led to ever-larger companies, while the pressure on costs has seen an increasing use of computer-assisted translation software. The result is high staff turnover and low quality translation because you never work with the same person twice.

By working with a freelance translator you have the chance to develop a long-term working relationship that offers optimum quality at the best possible price.

So why not trust a freelance translator?

Background

After having graduated from the Institut Supérieur d'Interprétation et de Traduction (ISIT) in Paris in 1986, and the British, German and Spanish Chambers of Commerce, I worked for a translation agency in London in 1988/1989 before going freelance in 1990.

Freelancers do not necessarily work alone. Like many other freelancers I belong to a freelance translation network. My translation partners and I cover a wide range of specialist fields and languages to offer a full high quality service.
